Lately I have received several e-mails stating I was winner in the UK National Lottery. Is it legitimate?

I have received such notifications from the Yahoo National Lottery, and the British National Lottery. The e-mail usually states I am winner because e-mail was entered in a sweepstakes contest. Are these Legitimate contest or do they just want my personal information?

   I got one of those too. It really is a big SCAM. Never submit. Only Recieve. That’s all I got to say.
